About the Author

"In 1968, a cousin told me about The Urantia Book with details of Jesus. I never heard of it, but he was so dynamic and passionate. I borrowed The Urantia Book from our public library three times. I purchased my own book from the publisher after the librarian wouldn't let me check it out anymore. New information takes time to absorb, especially about God, Jesus, the Cosmos, and angels. I read my Urantia Book for several years over many late night sessions.

"Today, I coordinate weekly study group sessions online. I sat on numerous Urantia-related Boards and committees, and participated in international conferences and symposiums for more than 50 years. New dissemination methods of its teachings hold worldwide promise to know Jesus better. This is my enduring prayer because this is what I believe Jesus truly wants.

"My dual interests in photography and aviation developed in high school. After graduation I worked as photographer/lithographer for the Church of the Brethren General Board, Elgin, Illinois, and as Goshen News, Indiana, photographer. I trained in photo intelligence interpretation with the United States Air Force and served a tour of duty at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Saigon, Vietnam. I received The Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in 1967. In 2024, I donated my Vietnamese photo archive to the Indiana Historical Society, Indianapolis.

"I hold the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license–the highest level American certificate. Service included flight instruction, charter pilot, and branch manager at two Northern Indiana airports. I also worked as corporate pilot for a rubber products corporation and pilot for an international fractional ownership management corporation headquartered near Cleveland, Ohio, before my retirement in 2005.
