What if the answers we seek are not found in changing the world around us—but in changing how we see, think, and respond to it?

How to Recycle a Disposable Planet is a thought-provoking journey that blends story, philosophy, and exploration of human consciousness. Through the experiences of its characters, the reader is invited to question long-held assumptions, examine motivations, and discover a deeper way of understanding both self and society.

Set against the backdrop of a world facing environmental and spiritual crisis, this book offers more than a narrative—it offers a way of thinking. A way of observing. A way of recognizing truth, guidance, and purpose in a complex and often chaotic world.

This newly released edition preserves the original message while presenting it in a clean, modern format for today’s readers.

About the Author
After a very sudden subarachnoid cerebral hemorrhage when I was 20, I was released from the hospital to my parents. There was no rehab back then, I was sent back to my parent's home. I had to learn to remember again... It was hard, I had to earn my privilege to drive again, and I was warned I should not have children as the stress of pregnancy could trigger another incident. But, I was persistent and determined!

I recovered and have 3 wonderful grown children, & 5 grandchildren. We spent several years in Japan with my husband's occupation. We were the first American family, his company, Fujitsu, had ever moved to Japan. What an adventure living in a country so different! We did not live in an American compound, but just like the Japanese (with our beds on the tatami-mat floor, no car, so we rode the trains everywhere, and learned to love the adventure, different foods, culture and language).

I earned a Bachelor degree in Science (Medical Technology) before I met my husband, & a Masters in OT (Occupational Therapy) after our kids were grown. I worked in genetics (tissue typing) research; in construction as a carpenter and carpenter Foreman, I was also the 1st woman in the Carpenter’s Union in Dallas; I worked as an OTR in Psych, often in lock-down units.

But the hardest job I ever had was being a stay-at-home Mom, often alone, as my husband traveled overseas extensively and we did not live in town, but out on acreage.

I grew up in rural and small towns in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. Now I reside in Colorado near our children, lots of gorgeous, challenging hiking trails, pickleball tournaments and an international airport, so we can still travel.

Who would have guessed I would end up writing inspirational science fiction? My life changed when I had my hemorrhage. I have been blest with so many adventures and emergencies which have given me a wealth of insight and personal growth which I now wish to share.
