About the Artist
"Tango" is an collection of original compostions from the pen and paper of composer, Bob Solone. On this special EP collection we find beautiful melodies from Bob including song performances. "Sleeping Alone" is from a fourthcoming musical, "Love, Sex @ Middle Age" written with Scott Urban. "Only A Dream," is from Bob's duet CD "Soft Side," also available from LMGkidsource Music on Amazon.com. Tango is Bob's first published work and is available from Alliance Publications, Inc. It features a beautiful accordion solo from Chicago's own Joe Vito. Aurora Borealis was written for orchestra and shakuhachi (a traditional japanese bamboo flute.) It includes a brief musical quote from Alexander Borodin's In The Steppes of Central Asia. Introduction and Fantasia for String and Orchestra was written while Bob lived in New York. This live recording is from the world premier performance from Bob's Carnegie Hall debut in 1983. Prayer for Oboe and String Orchestra was written on Christams Eve 2003.
